Your location

Your location is used to calculate times and to know when Shabbat and holidays fall. The app's day starts over at nightfall (tzeit hakochavim).

Reminders

Gentle reminders on your phone: sent only if you haven't reached 100 blessings that day, and never on Shabbat or Yom Tov.

Notifications are blocked on this device.

To allow them, open the site settings in your browser (the lock icon next to the address) → Notifications → Allow. If the app is installed on your home screen: phone Settings → Notifications → 100 Brachot. Then turn the switch on again here.

Home screen

After each tap, a short line reminds you what the blessing gives thanks for.

My profile

Your custom, prayers and blessings. Your shortcuts and holiday lists are built from them.

My custom

The settings below follow your custom; you can change them.

My blessings

Some blessings differ for men and women - tzitzit and tefillin, and some festival blessings.

Tefillin get two blessings (“lehaniach” and “al mitzvat”); following the Shulchan Aruch, one. The Torah blessings count as 2 – “VeHaArev na” continues the first blessing (Mishna Berura 47:12).

My regular prayers

Only what you usually say. You can always add a blessing by hand.

Yom Tov days follow where you live

Someone who lives abroad and visits Israel keeps two days, and an Israeli abroad keeps one (SA OC 496:3 and its commentators). “Automatic” follows the chosen location.

Backup & sync

Right now your blessing log is saved only on this device. Signing in with Google keeps a cloud backup and lets you continue on any device.

Signing in is optional; everything keeps working without it. Signing in stores in your account in the cloud: your blessing log (with times and dedications), your shortcuts and some settings. Details in the privacy policy

Backup file

Save a file with all your data and restore it on any device, even without an account.

Privacy & usage data

To help us improve the app, it sends a short, anonymous daily summary of how it is used, without your name, contact details, account details or the content of your blessings. You can turn it off at any time.

On: an anonymous daily summary is sent from this device.

What is sent

  • The date (halachic day) the summary is about, how many times the app was opened that day, how many times blessings were added and how many, and how many blessings were counted on it
  • Whether you reached 100, the length of your streak and since which day you have used the app
  • How blessings were added (tap, manual, shortcut, notification, or completing a past day or a Shabbat or holiday) and the time from opening the app to the first one
  • Whether the app was opened from the home screen as an installed app and whether it was installed that day, whether reminders are on, turning them on or off, and how often the app was opened from a reminder and of which kind
  • How many times you shared and what (the app, a group invitation or an image), how many times you joined a group, whether you finished the welcome steps, the language and the device type (iOS, Android or computer)
  • A random id derived by one-way hashing from a secret key of this device (the key itself is not sent with the summary), to connect this device's summaries; we never link it to you or to any other data

What is never sent

  • Your name, email, phone, or any account or group details (even when you are signed in, the summary is sent without your sign-in details)
  • Which blessings you said, shortcut names or dedications
  • Your location or chosen city
  • Your IP address: it is not stored in the statistics records. Like any website, the hosting server sees it during the request

The data is used only to improve the app and for the counter "… blessings counted in the app today", which shows a total only. It is never sold or passed to anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it for us, and it is deleted automatically after 6 months at most.
